We've tested every Crash Team Rumble Relic station
Want to know about all of the Crash Team Rumble Relic stations? The game's unique take on traditional Relics provides players with various ways to gain advantages over their opponents. We've spent a lot of time testing each one to see how they impact the game.
As players progress through Crash Team Rumble, they'll come across unique Relic Stations that provide temporary perks in the battle royale game. These range from dealing damage to making players harder to hit. Here is our ranking and discussion of every Relic in Crash Team Rumble, including the effects and strategies that each one provides.
All Crash Team Rumble Relics
The first Relic we tested was the "Jumping Jacks". This Relic allows players to jump with style and deal damage to nearby enemies. While it could be useful in a situation where a player is trying to reach a high point, it may not be the best choice if there are a lot of enemies nearby.
The next Relic we tested was the Sandstorm Relic. Upon activation, it damages enemies in the area and throws them upwards. However, the area is quite easy to avoid, and the damage isn't that significant. If players are looking to get into the fray, they may want to consider the Drone or Ika Ika Relics instead.
The Ika Ika Relic, on the other hand, offers a vertical boost upon activation and an area attack upon landing, which is great for eliminating enemies below. Players could use it to get into a good position for a fight or drop onto an enemy to secure the area. Either way, the Ika Ika is probably the best of the non-traditional Relics.
The Bandicootapult Relic is one of the best, in our opinion. Upon activation, it provides players with high mobility by throwing them to specific map points. It's great for covering large distances and controlling points, which could be the difference between getting a kill or not.
Invisibility is probably the most controversial of the Crash Team Rumble Relics. While it's excellent for sneaking up on unsuspecting players, it's not so useful when players are attacking or breaking crates. The best thing to do with Invisibility is to run into a group of enemies, then run off and hope they spend time looking for the player instead of completing objectives.
This Relic forces players to constantly be on the move, similar to the 'constant movement' option in battle royale games like Apex Legends. It's great for getting in and out of areas quickly but becomes pretty ineffective when players are trying to attack or break crates.
The Flamethrower Relics defend or attack by causing constant damage to enemies on top of a chosen bank. If players are defending, the Flamethrower is excellent for getting enemies off their back, and if they're attacking, they can use it to push enemies away from the bank.
The Shroom Relics infest the surrounding area, slowing down enemies and causing pain. The Shroom is great for slowing down enemies who are trying to get to players' back or if they're trying to defend a point. It's also useful if players have just activated a fast-moving Relic, as it can cause a little more chaos.
The Garbage Dump Relic shoots projectiles at the chosen bank, causing damage without a safe area. The Garbage Dump is really good for forcing players to move around, especially if players can get in front of them so they have to run through the projectiles. However, it's a risky move as players could be forced to move as well if they're stuck behind the projectiles.
Turret Relics offer better range and consistency in hitting targets, but players give up some damage in the process. The range is especially good for defending the bank, as players can hit targets from a distance before they even get close.
The Kart Relics are better for moving around the map, as they deal damage and push enemies, making it really difficult for anyone to stand in players' way. The Kart is especially useful if players have activated a fast-moving Relic, as they can use it to push enemies away from the path they're taking.
Force Field Relics block the main path to the bank, limiting enemy options and protecting players' back. Players can place the Force Field in a doorway or narrow hallway, forcing enemies to take a longer path and giving players more time to react.
Biggie Wumpa doubles players' storage capacity for Wumpa, which can be a decoy if enemies hog the new bank. Players could also use Biggie Wumpa if there are a lot of players on the opposite team, as doubling their capacity means they can store more Wumpa for their allies.
Wumpa Stash is another place to store Wumpa, increasing the amount players can store. If players are in a good position and they know their teammates are going to work hard to get to the top, Wumpa Stash could be a great choice as players can store Wumpa for them.
Spirit Dragon flies around the bank, hurting enemies and pushing them away. It's a great way to get enemies off players' back while they're trying to defend and can also be used to force them into a longer path if players are attacking.
Wumpa Bonsai is another place to store Wumpa, increasing how much players can store. If players are in a good position and they know their teammates are going to work hard to get to the top, Wumpa Bonsai could be a great choice as players can store Wumpa for them.
Akano spins around players, causing damage and knockback to enemies. If players are in a good position, the Akano is excellent for keeping players off their back, especially those who are trying to get in close for a melee attack.
Speed Boost increases players' speed, giving them more control over points and enabling them to move quickly across the map. It's especially useful if players have activated a fast-moving Relic, as they can use their increased mobility to get in and out of areas quickly.
Invincibility shields players, damaging enemies upon contact and causing meteors to fall across the map. Invincibility is a great choice if players are in a good position and they want to force players off their back without leaving the area.
