Streamer Adin Ross offers the Sidemen $100 million to sign with Kick, aiming to change the streaming landscape.

When it comes to streaming deals, it doesn’t get much bigger than $100 million. That’s right; popular Twitch streamer and YouTuber Adin Ross has offered the Sidemen, a British YouTuber collective, a massive $100 million deal to join Kick, with the potential of changing up the entire streaming world. Talk about big money.

If you aren’t aware, Kick is a rising platform that aims to revolutionise the streaming industry by paying creators more through engaging in more direct viewer interaction. The platform already boasts some impressive creators such as DanXDiamond, FitDavid, and DoogieSkins. Akin to YouTube, it also allows for bigger deals to be made with top streamers. With so many familiar faces on the Sidemen, it seems like the ideal fit for Kick.

“This offer comes about because Adin Ross believes Kick can tap into the already dedicated fanbase of these creators, monetise to a level these creators have never seen before, and reach heights in the streaming world that have never been achieved before in this market,” says Adin Ross in his exclusive statement to Businessbaron regarding his offer to the Sidemen.

Adin Ross also emphasises the power of the Sidemen as streamers, referring to them as a “force to be reckoned with financially, with the potential to be the most highly streamed content creators in history, simply because they are the best at what they do and they have a vessel – Kick – to monetise and scale their brand better than ever before.”

With this $100 million deal, Adin Ross is clearly very passionate about the power of the Sidemen, a group that he is a part of also, and Kick. While the deal for $100 million is immense, and quite a step up from the norm, it shows a lot about both the group and Kick itself. The Sidemen have a very strong presence on YouTube and other social media platforms, and Kick is hoping to capitalise on that.

Whoever ends up signing with Kick will certainly have a strong backing from both Adin and the platform itself. This proposal, $100 million or not, does a lot to critique the platform, and it sets a bar for it to reach and surpass. If Kick can make it so the Sidemen profit this much, then surely other top-tier creators can benefit greatly as well.

So, not only will the Sidemen be getting paid an enormous amount, they will be able to show off new content on different locations on a bigger platform. While the financial gains are certainly important, the fact that both Adin Ross and Kick seem to be confident about the group and its potential, speaks volumes. If you are a supporter of the Sidemen, perhaps this will push you to watch their streams and videos more often.

Of course, there is much more to creating a top streaming and gaming platform than just offering deals; these features help solidify the act. Check out some of the best Twitch features that could herald a revolution if Kick can offer them, alongside other innovative new Twitch features.
