TuQc signs $100 million deal with Kick

Felix Lengyel, popularly known as TuQc or xQc, has signed a two-year, $100 million deal with streaming platform Kick, making it the largest individual Twitch contract ever. The deal, negotiated by TuQc's agent Ryan Morrison, has an initial worth of $70 million, with incentives that could push the total value up to $100 million.

TuQc expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating that he will now be streaming exclusively on Kick. He believes that together with Kick, they can help grow the gaming industry and is proud to be a part of it.

Kick, while having a smaller audience compared to Twitch, offers a more favorable revenue split of only 5% compared to Twitch's 30-50%. The platform also has lenient guidelines for certain content, including a dedicated category for gambling streams, which aligns with TuQc's interest in gambling.

Despite some skepticism, Kick aims to attract a larger mainstream audience and provide greater revenue opportunities for streamers. While the platform's success remains to be seen, TuQc's presence on Kick has already garnered significant attention, with over 50,000 followers amassed within an hour of the announcement.
