Invincible: Guarding the Globe - An Upcoming Mobile RPG
A new Invincible RPG is on the way, based around the long-running comic book series by author Robert Kirkman. We knew it was coming, but now we have more information about the Mobile game. It’s being developed by Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile, and it’s called Invincible: Guarding the Globe.
In Guarding the Globe, you’ll assemble a lineup of heroes and then send them out on automated battles. While they’re fighting in the background, you can do other things – it’s a traditional idle squad game. You won’t be directly participating in the fights, but you can check in to upgrade your fighters and acquire more.
Guarding the Globe is a completely new storyline not seen in the comics or TV show, and it features a wide range of characters. You’ll work with familiar characters from the Invincible universe, including Invincible and Omni-Man, as well as more niche characters like The Immortal and Green Ghost.
Invincible: Guarding the Globe - Microtransactions
As a mobile title developed by Ubisoft, Guarding the Globe is expected to have microtransactions. However, you can pre-register for the game right now, and doing so will reward you with 50,000 GDA Chips, the game’s premium currency.
Invincible: Guarding the Globe - Release Date
Invincible: Guarding the Globe does not currently have a release date, but you can register on the official website for iOS or Android to be kept up to date. We’ll learn more about the game as it approaches its release.
