A Red Dead Redemption Remaster Could Be Coming Soon
A Red Dead Redemption remaster may be on the horizon, as Rockstar hints at a potential announcement via a shared font on Rockstar Newswire. Videotechx, who discovered the font, believes that the announcement might be coming soon, and that it may be linked to a Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 Pro enhancement patch.
“I believe this is a sign that the announcement is coming soon,” they write. “Whether it is within the next few months or not, I don’t know.”
While the announcement may come in the near future, there is some possibility that Rockstar is preparing for a future reveal. Videotechx suggests that the Red Dead Redemption remaster announcement may come in August, with the new font being used on a revamped Red Dead Redemption website. They note that the website shares similarities with GTA Online’s website, suggesting that it has been repurposed for the announcement.
“I do believe we will get an official announcement for Red Dead Redemption Remastered quite soon,” they write. “Now, I know Rockstar likes to throw us a curveball so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got an additional announcement, but I think Red Dead Redemption Remastered will be the main event this summer.”
A Red Dead Redemption remaster would be a welcome addition to the PC and current-gen PlayStation store. The original game was also recently added to the Xbox Game Pass library, so an announcement would be a great way to celebrate the game’s success.
