Star Wars Outlaws: A Thrilling Adventure
Star Wars Outlaws has its own version of Assassin’s Creed Origins’s Senu in the form of a motocross-inspired speeder, and it looks ace.
Being a scoundrel in the Star Wars universe is hard work. Travelling across the vast desert moon of Toshara, you’re going to want to get from A to B as quickly as possible. Thankfully, Star Wars Outlaws has its own version of Assassin’s Creed Origins’s Senu in the form of a motocross-inspired speeder, and it looks ace.
Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft’s take on an expansive Star Wars sandbox game, and it boasts its own take on the series’ famous open worlds. Much like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Outlaws has its own version of Eagle Sense in the form of a droid called BD-1, but it’s not the only familiar mechanic from Ubisoft’s series.
Star Wars Outlaws will have its own version of Assassin’s Creed Origins’s Senu, a personal drone that allows you to scout the area and tag enemies and resources. In Outlaws, however, it has a very motocross-inspired twist, serving as a means of fast, thrilling, and fun travel experiences.
Despite being inspired heavily by Assassin’s Creed, Outlaws’ worlds are painstakingly handcrafted, though they’re not as large as entire Assassin’s Creed games. Each planet is roughly equivalent to two or three zones in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with each one containing a main city and a few other zones to explore.
We don’t yet know what kind of personalisation options you’ll be able to have for the speeder, but it does look like you’ll be able to customise it to some degree. Star Wars Outlaws is a ways off yet, with release still some time in 2024, but it’s already looking like an adventure well worth embarking on.
