Stray Gods Act 1 ending

After deciding to go after Apollo's least trusted god, Grace and Apollo head to the Underworld. The two split up to find Persephone, with Grace socializing with the Idols at the nightclub while Apollo finds Kymis and learns of the location of the Underworld. Grace has three potential attendees to chat with, each with different responses based on your previous choices.

Pan doesn't have much to say, but Hermes will refuse to reveal Persephone's location. If you've been a Kickass Grace, you can persuade him otherwise, but otherwise you can choose to leave empty-handed. Eros provides early context for a scene in Act Two and can be convinced to disclose Persephone's location if you've been a Clever Grace.

You can choose to return to Apollo or go straight to Persephone. When you arrive, you're met with a confrontation that quickly turns into song. "Challenging A Queen" involves Grace and Persephone arguing about past events. You can choose to persuade Persephone and answer questions. Persephone eventually comes around, leading to a chat in her office with Apollo. The two discuss Calliope, as well as potential suspects.

Things start to get a little tense between Apollo and Persephone, to the point that you're forced to choose between siding with one of them for the rest of the game. "Old Wounds" showcases the gods' tensions, with limited choices for Grace.

After a few scenes, you'll be asked to decide to Follow Apollo or Stay with Persephone. This determines your main ally for the rest of the game, which can affect potential romances. But the gods need time to plan, so that's all for now.

That marks the end of Act One in Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. There's still plenty to see in Act Two, so be sure to check back later for more guides. If you need something to tide you over in the meantime, perhaps our list of the best PC games available right now.
