The Xbox Series X looks like a tissue box
It’s true. The new Microsoft console has been likened to a tissue box, and it’s hard to unsee. Our eyes were opened to this unfortunate resemblance after reading a forum where users suggested potential names for the Xbox Series X, including the (admittedly quite good) Xbox Series KleeneX. The hilarity continued as people began making jokes about using Xbox consoles as tissues, and even discussing the console’s potential as a device for crying over games.
This is all very silly, but it’s also true. Some users are expressing concern about the Xbox Series X’s design, which includes large vents that could easily accumulate dust. Others are simply enjoying the many jokes about the console.
There are plenty of mixed opinions about the Xbox Series X’s design, with some preferring it over the PS5’s design and others comparing it to early 2000s Apple products. I’m not personally a fan of the ‘boxy’ design, but I’d argue that the Xbox One X was more attractive, and that the inevitable Xbox Series X custom skins will help it to stand out.
Regardless, it’s hard to deny that the size difference between the Xbox and the PS5 is a bit funny. Check out this image comparing the two consoles:
Personally, I find it hard to take the Xbox seriously when it looks like a toddler next to the PS5.
