What do you need to run Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC? The much-anticipated action-adventure game is getting a port to computers, and developer Insomniac Games has now shared the minimum and recommended PC specs.

Originally released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 in June 2021, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart follows the iconic duo as they travel through different dimensions. The game received critical acclaim upon its initial release, with many players praising the stunning visuals, fluid gameplay, and captivating storytelling.

Now, PC players are set to get the chance to dive into the exciting world of Ratchet & Clank for themselves, and Insomniac has revealed the specs you’ll need to run the game. Here are the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC requirements.

According to the developer, you’ll at least need an Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, alongside a GPU that falls between the minimum requirements of either a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870. Additionally, you’ll need 8GB of RAM and 50GB of available storage space.

Here are the minimum and recommended PC specs for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart:

To run Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart at 1080p and 30 FPS, Insomniac says you’ll need an Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, along with either a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580. The developer states that the game will also support higher frame rates, but hasn’t specified which.

The recommended RAM is actually 16GB, with Insomniac saying that the game will still require 50GB of storage space. However, the studio does say that the PC version will support 60 FPS and higher frame rates, so it’s possible that these recommended specs are only required at certain resolutions.

We’ll be sure to update this when Insomniac reveals more about the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC release date, but for now you’ll want to get familiar with the specs and prepare your rig for launch. After all, who doesn’t want to play one of the best PC Games of 2021 on their own personal computer?
