The Sims 4 Horse Ranch release date is July 20, 2023. The release time hasn’t been officially announced yet, but historically packs release at a specific time. If this pattern continues, we can expect the pack to be made available at the same time globally.

The PC version of The Sims 4 Horse Ranch is available on a range of different platforms, including EA App for Windows, Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch pre-order bonuses

If you’re eager to get your hands on the pack ahead of time, there are a few pre-order bonuses to consider. If you purchase the pack before August 31, 2023, you will receive the Rockin Rancher Digital Content, which includes a resonator guitar, wagon wheel art, and a rustic rocking chair.

This isn’t the only pre-order bonus offered for The Sims 4 Horse Ranch. If you’re planning on pre-ordering the Sims 4 Horse Ranch Collector’s Edition, you’ll also receive a horse costume for your Sims and a pair of cowboy boots.

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch details

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch trailer released at The Game Awards 2022 gave a sneak peek at the world and revealed that you’ll finally be able to ride horses. It also showed off the various activities you and your equine companion can engage in, such as barrel racing and jumping.

While The Sims 4 team has been working on this pack since the release of The Sims 4: Farm to Table, they’ve also been hard at work on the next update for the main game. The Sims 4 1.70 update is scheduled to release alongside Horse Ranch, and it includes new features such as Free Cam, which will allow you to take screenshots without leaving build mode.

We’ve also been treated to a few sneak peeks at upcoming features coming to the base game as well. While no details have been given about either of these features, we can make an educated guess based on the current ceiling and flooring options. It’s expected that the base game options for flooring and ceilings will have additional swatches added, although we won’t know exactly how these will function until the patch drops.
