I, for one, would like to see Gaten Matarazzo tackle the challenge of playing the cruel-yet-charming Coriolanus, especially after he portrayed the vicious and bloodthirsty Peter from the Movie The Devil’s Hand. Mark my words; this would be perfect.
We’re also left to wonder who would play the songbird from the book’s title and the Snake who names her. I would prefer a newcomer for the titular Songbird and a more experienced, older actress for the Snake, like Daphne Keen, to create that interestingly wide age gap between her and Coriolanus.
