Indiana Jones 5 Locations

Indiana Jones 5 locations are already emerging, with fans hungry for any new information about this eagerly anticipated sequel. The latest stills from the film reveal some stunning backdrops, from a remote jungle and picturesque desert, to – perhaps most tantalisingly – some truly breathtaking urban settings.

1944 Train Sequence

If there’s one set that really stands out in these first Indiana Jones 5 set photos, it’s the 1944 train sequence. It’s not just because Harrison Ford looks better than ever at the age of 74 and still commands the hat and whip like the true character legend he is. No, this action-packed scene, shot down a narrow, seemingly never-ending tunnel, is filmed in an undisclosed location, but it perfectly captures the intensity we have come to expect from Dr. Jones.

1969 Astronaut Parade

Another major Indiana Jones 5 filming location is the 1969 astronaut parade. As you might imagine, this plays a crucial role in the film, taking place just moments before a catastrophic event that Indy, with the help of his friend Mutt Williams, must set right. This wide-scale parade was filmed in a huge city, full of historic sites and deep culture, making for an interesting setting.

The filmmakers do love to pile on the production value with great big set pieces posted around each corner, and the rest of the Indiana Jones 5 filming locations this time around come with a picturesque backdrop. While there is no further information about any of these scenes just yet, some fairly obvious suggestions emerge as you pore over these photos.

Remote Jungle

Probably the first location that springs to mind is a remote jungle, which we see our archeologist and his young sidekick plunge into in search of something valuable, only to find more danger than they bargained for. The lush greenery and dense foliage provide the perfect backdrop to these adventurous scenes, and the shots of Daisy Ridley and Abhinav Shatsri navigating the steep hills look like they could have been captured right on the doorstep of your local zoo.

Desert

Another notable place featured in the Indiana Jones 5 trailer is a desert, again serving as a backdrop for this adventurous film. Jade Williams and Bojana Novakovic can be seen braving the heat as they discuss what appears to be a fairly important matter. Indiana himself arrives mid-conversation, giving us a first glimpse at the famous fedora and whip – in action, no less. Check it out here:

And those are all the Indiana Jones 5 filming locations that we know about so far. But there’s plenty of iconic landmarks here to make your whip flick sting with familiarity. Notice anything that seems familiar?
